Who writes this site
ChatYourTrip is built and written by Herbert Kerkhoff. Every guide and trip idea on the site is published under that byline rather than anonymously, so there is one person accountable for the advice.
What the planner does
You describe a trip in a sentence and get a day-by-day itinerary on a map, then change it by chatting. Every leg is drawn with the transport you would actually take - flights, taxis, trains, ferries - with real travel times, because a plan that ignores the getting-there is a list rather than an itinerary.
How the itineraries are made
Trips are drafted by AI, then checked against real coordinates and real routing. That second half is the part that matters: a generated plan reads as confident whether or not it is correct, so the map, the distances and the travel times are what catch a stop in the wrong place before you do.
